Phil Dwire is in his tenth year at the University of Connecticut – his first with UConn Digital Media & Design. Phil transitions to DMD from the UConn Division of Athletics – where, as the Director of Digital Media, he managed the growth of the UConn Huskies’ digital presence, including web, e-mail, mobile, and social. He also served as the Division’s point person with IMG College and CBS Interactive on digital initiatives and corporate partnership contract fulfillment and activation. Phil has worked on marketing campaigns, digital programs, and design projects with some of the most distinguished global and regional brands including, Nike, GE, Coca-Cola, Powerade, Chevrolet, AT&T, ESPN, NBC, GEICO, MillerCoors, UPS, Toyota, Travelers, jetBlue, Hyundai, Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Allstate, AAA, New York Life, State Farm, Stop & Shop, PC Richard & Son, Muscle Milk, United Healthcare, Connecticut Business Systems, Aspen Dental and the UConn Health Center. A two-time graduate of the University of Connecticut, Phil holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing and a master’s degree in education.
